Founded in 1989, Cadimage Solutions has been a leading supplier of Technology Solutions for the New Zealand Building Industry.
Initially concentrating on providing high end visualisation services Cadimage quickly became the distributor for Graphisoft ArchiCAD and established a large market share of the New Zealand Architectural CAD market.
In 1999 Cadimage Solutions started creating ArchiCAD Add-ons based on specific customer requirements. This included large Design to Manufacture Systems for companies including Lockwood Homes and Carter Holt Harvey.
Through the continual Sales and Support of ArchiCAD and an ever growing customer base Cadimage Solutions saw the potential to provide a series of more generic Add-ons. Initially developed directly for our New Zealand customers we discovered their potential internationally and launched the Cadimage Tools ecommerce Website in 2004.
Cadimage Solution's visualisation services continued until 2003 when the directors of Cadimage Solutions formed and sold BUILDmedia (www.buildmedia.co.nz) as a completely separate business.
In 2007, Cadimage Solutions overall business structure was reorganised and two subsidiary companies were formed to continue the work of the two business units previously within Cadimage Solutions.
While both businesses share significant synergies with each other they have two quite clearly defined markets and focuses. The ArchiCAD Sales, Service, Support and Training business – Graphisoft New Zealand – is purely focused on the New Zealand Architectural CAD Market, while the ArchiCAD Add-on Development Business – Cadimage Tools - has a major focus on exporting and developing its international market.
The Cadimage Group now comprises three companies. While each company has its own structure, staff and focus they all work extremely closely with each other.
Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Cadimage Tools Ltd is a developer of productivity-focused add-ons for Graphisoft ArchiCAD.
Cadimage Tools Ltd was formed in 2007 as a 100% subsidiary of Cadimage Solutions Ltd. Cadimage Tools Ltd has been established to focus on the continuing development, sales and support of the Cadimage Tools Suite. Cadimage Solutions started creating ArchiCAD Tools for ArchiCAD in 1999.
Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Graphisoft New Zealand Limited is a 100% subsidiary of Cadimage Solutions Limited.
Graphisoft New Zealand is the exclusive distributor of ArchiCAD in New Zealand. Graphisoft New Zealand was established to continue the Sales and Service of ArchiCAD software in New Zealand under the Graphisoft brand.
After investing over 6 years creating ArchiCAD resource content for our customer base in New Zealand, the owners of Cadimage Solutions Limited formed ArchiCADselect.com Ltd on 6 August 2007.
This new company facilitates sharing these resources with the worldwide ArchiCAD community and involving this community in a global forum for the continued exchange of ArchiCAD resource content.
